Solving webcam as primary soundcard under Linux (Redhat 9)
Prerequisites
- Redhat Linux 9
- On-board Intel AC'97 sound card
- Webcam with microphone
Procedure
This is a dirty work around. Tried with ALSA but it still didn't solve my problem.
- Rename mixer1 to mixer and vice versa
- Rename audio1 to audio and vice versa
- Rename dsp1 to dsp and vice versa
